Grayse Fashion Show at Fashion Island
It was very exciting to be invited to a fashion event recently at GRAYSE, Fashion Island. We had the pleasure of meeting the co-founder of GRAYSE, and fashion icon, Marie Gray. This is the same Marie Gray that, along with her late husband Bob, created St. John Knits. Their daughter, Kelly, was the face of the brand for many years.
Kelly and Marie Gray have combined their styles and talent to create this beautiful lifestyle brand known as GRAYSE. Whether the collections are casual, evening or bridal-party, all will have their signature pave’, studs or crystal embellishments…all hand applied. From figure flattering Italian modal knits, to buttery soft leather on mesh, or luxurious reversible fur jackets, women of all ages, shapes, and sizes can find garments that make them feel beautiful, confident or like a rock star.
As Marie Gray explained to us “If you are not comfortable in what you are wearing it shows “. She talked about how much she enjoys collaborating with her daughter on the line because “Kelly brings an edgy element”, although she stated that she has been known to surprise Kelly at times with her own edginess.
In our opinion that whatever the occasion, there’s something for everyone at GRAYSE. And, as an added bonus, GRAYSE will occasionally have a warehouse sale in their Irvine factory, with deep discounts on these gorgeous clothes.
